Primary Care, Home Visits, and Pediatrics (VFC Program)

Karen has been a nurse since 1974, nearing fifty years of experience. She retired from the Military after serving 27 years as a Colonel. She is a combat veteran for two tours, one in Iraq and the second one in Afghanistan. After being gone from this location for several years she moved home and is now living here where her family still resides. Her experience includes working in a hospital, where she worked on the Labor and Delivery floor, ER and the Medical-Surgical Floor. She was an Associate Professor in a nursing program at Kentucky State University. For the past 25 years, she has been working at Rural health clinics.
